Catering Sales Manager - Aventura Catering

Job DescriptionThe Catering Sales Manager, Aventura Catering at the Phoenix Convention Center, will collaborate closely with the Sales Director to manage convention, corporate, and social catering accounts.? The primary goal is to achieve or exceed revenue targets while ensuring the successful execution of events.? This role offers a base salary with the potential for local monthly commissions based on performance metrics.Job Responsibilities? Build and nurture relationships with existing clients, supporting both recurring events and one-time groups.? Promptly respond to customer inquiries and requests.? Create and present proposals and contracts tailored to client needs.? Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance revenue through upselling and additional services that exceed client expectations.? Collaborate with on-site event planners to ensure a seamless and e event experience.Please note that this job profile is not an exhaustive list of all tasks, duties, or responsibilities. Bachelor?s degree in hospitality management or equivalent professional experience.? 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in catering sales.? Familiarity with major convention centers, convention hotels, or large social markets.? Strong organizational and presentation skills.? Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with a diverse range of clients and team members.? Knowledgeable in menu planning and food presentation.? Experienced in banquet and event service operations.? Capable of managing multiple tasks while demonstrating creativity and a proactive sales approach.? Strong project management skills with a focus on communication.? Ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.? Attention to detail with excellent time management skills.? Demonstrated leadership capabilities.? Comfortable making decisions and negotiating effectively.? Ability to take direction while also working independently.?
