Home Health Aide for nighttime

My husband was diagnosed with ALS 6 1/2 years ago. He is confined to a wheelchair and nearly completely paralyzed. Because I have a bad back and three young children, I need someone who is able to to bed at night.

Responsibilities include

Getting him undressed

assisting him in using a urinal bottle

brushing his teeth and hair

washing his face

using a Hoyer lift to get him into bed

We typically pay $35 per night or $50 per night after 10 PM. The entire routine should take 30 to 40 minutes to complete when you would be finished for the night.

You should have experience caring for a patient in a wheelchair and be knowledgeable of safe transfer techniques
