Work hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday with a 1-hour lunch break from 12:00-1:00 pm

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

Must be organized with attention to detailollo. Follow-through; with a positive attitude

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have excellent computer skills (must be proficient in Excel, Word, Email, etc)

Must be quick with numbers and be able to accurately input numbers into Excel Spreadsheets

Prepare weekly and monthly Excel spreadsheets for bookkeeper/upper management

Must be able to multi-task with the ability to adapt to unexpected situations

Responsible for sending out group emails as needed to all employees

Responsible for communicating with vendors/contractors for updates on work throughout company

Screen resumes for prospective employees and schedule interviews

Must be resourceful

Other duties, as assigned

Property Manager Responsibilities

Prior Self-Storage experience not necessary

Full responsibility for the overall operation of a small 128-unit facility including; providing outstanding customer service; assist reservation and walk-in customers (both in-person and on the telephone) in renting storage units; understanding our lease terms and fees; completing lease agreements; sell customers moving merchandise; maintain the office in a clean, orderly and professional manner; call delinquent tenants; and other duties as necessary

Ensure the appearance of the property is customer-ready by cleaning units, cleaning hallways, sweeping, mopping, removing debris, wiping windows, etc…so that the property is safe and welcoming, with excellent curb appeal

Answer 888 number to assist caller with locating a property that can accommodate their needs

Must be professional and goal-oriented with excellent customer service skills

Other duties, as assigned

Must have reliable transportation, valid US driver's license with active car insurance, and registration

High School Diploma Required

One-week paid vacation per year plus sick leave; floating holidays
