Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently move products and materials throughout the warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely while adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, including Hi-Lo and reach trucks, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.

Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently using a warehouse management system.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment is in safe working conditions.

Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Follow all safety regulations and best practices while operating lift trucks and other equipment.

Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Must possess valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one prior to employment.

Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
