Maintenance Technicians - Temporary

We currently have openings for temporary maintenance help. Positions are ideal for currently employed individuals that are looking to pick up additional shifts around their current schedule. The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various equipment, systems, and infrastructure within the facility. The technician will assist in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance.

- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

- Assist in the repair and maintenance of production equipment, tools, and machinery.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.

- Document maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance management system.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.

- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

- Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members and departments as needed.

- Assist with moving furniture, setting up equipment, and other tasks as assigned.

- Participate in training and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on maintenance practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or related field preferred.

- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in maintenance tasks.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.

- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.

- Must pass background check.

Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician I may be required to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The role may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, and hazardous materials, so adherence to safety standards is crucial.
