H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And

Bachelor's Degree Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Law Enforcement, or closely related fields is required

Masters degree is preferred

Experience

5 Years of relevant work experience to include at least 2 years’ experience in Healthcare, Corporate Security, large city and/or county municipality with a bachelor’s degree is required

Licenses and Certifications

PCI (Professional Certified Investigator) required within 12 months of hire

WZCFI (WZ Cert Forensic Interviewer) required within12 months of hire

CLEA (Certified Law Enforcement Analyst) required upon hire

What You Will Do· The Program Manager of Crime & Investigative Analyst reports directly to the Director of Police and Security Programs. This position develops the strategy and implements an enterprise-wide, scalable Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.· Develops standard procedures and consistent processes for the Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.· Continuously enhances the Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.· Reviews reported police and security incidents, regardless of the reporting system, and evaluates the need for Crime & Investigative Analyst investigation while securing information and potential evidence related to the reported issue.· Communicates regularly with the Director of Police and Security Programs to ensure that incidents and events are being effectively communicated. Collaborates with the Texas Health Police Department investigators, HR, Compliance, Legal Services, and other internal departments to ensure the effective and appropriate delivery of the Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.· This position also works with Risk Management and impacted business units to share information and lessons learned during Crime & Investigative Analyst Program and assists with managing effective outcomes.· Performs the full range of Crime & Investigative Analyst such as Administrative Crime Analysis, Crime Intelligence Analysis, Strategic Analysis, and Tactical Analysis.· Participates in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and training.· Oversees the process for delegating Crime & Investigative Analyst to qualified security practitioners, the timely completion of those tasks, and the thorough and accurate reporting of the results.· Participates in the evaluation of state-of-the-art case management and reporting systems. Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.· Conducts the comprehensive review and analysis of KPIs, takes timely action to improve Program performance, and recommends Program enhancement, as required. Identifies Texas Health process vulnerabilities and opportunities to improve the protection of people and assets, enhance operations, or reduce waste, fraud, or abuse. May act as lead person or technical expert on small to medium projects.· The Program Manager of Crime & Investigative Analyst is defined as a profession and process in which a set of quantitative and qualitative techniques are used to analyze data valuable to agencies and their communities. Includes the analysis of crime and criminals, crime victims, disorder, quality of life issues, traffic issues, and internal police/security operations. Support criminal/non-criminal investigation and prosecution, patrol activities, crime prevention and reduction strategies, problem solving, and the evaluations of police and security efforts.Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee
