Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us .The QATD Training Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation of NEO (new employee orientation) and the Cell Therapy Technical Training curriculum as well as t he intake, development, delivery, and tracking of learning for other respective functional business clients . This position will play a key role in ensuring employees and contract staff meet compliance requirements relating to knowledge, skill, and practices necessary for her/his job performance and that they remain prepared to perform assigned tasks. This position requires cross-collaboration with technical contributors within Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance and Site Training.Responsibilities:
Executes equipment and process training for cell therapy manufacturing.
Assists with the development of training schedule with scheduling personnel to support new hire training and training for existing personnel.
Actively builds collaborative relationships / partnerships with all levels of the organization in the identification and implementation of learning solutions.
Plans and co-facilitates classroom training sessions and learning labs focusing on a wide variety of topics.
Provide guidance, expertise, and consulting to functional managers and SMEs in the assessment of training needs, the design of appropriate training, development, and implementation, and the measurement of training effectiveness.
Provides feedback to trainees to ensure all skills / knowledge have been acquired and communicates any skill/knowledge gaps that require additional training.
Solicits feedback from trainees to ensure the appropriateness of course content and for continuous improvement opportunities.
Collaborates with the Instructional Design team to co/develop training that is compliant and effective.
Maintains accurate training documentation and submission for record keeping.
Seeks feedback from Department Management and trainees to assess training needs and to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Co/develops course content and procedures including new SOPs, TRNs for system training programs as necessary.
Provides routine support for end users.
Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, commitment, and follow-through with all training initiatives.
Works independently and if issues or problems are identified, works with Management to resolve.
Education & Experience:
B.S in education, science, or related discipline, or its equivalent is desired.
Knowledge of adult learning and course design.
Requires a high level of understanding of cell therapy processes, systems, computer system validation, and GMP requirements. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and technical training requirements and associated processes.
Intermediate skills in design, development, and implementation of training.
Advanced skills in using PowerPoint, Excel, and relevant site-specific computerized systems.
Requires a high level of organizational and time management skills.
Capable of delivering training virtually as well as in-person.
Ability to communicate information clearly to facilitate effective learning. This position requires speaking in classroom settings.
Requires high level of attention to detail.
Requires strong interpersonal skills which enable appropriate collaboration with trainees, colleagues, and subject-matter experts.
Working Conditions:
This position is in an office and will have time spent working on a computer .
The incumbent will be required to gown to access classified manufacturing areas
