Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring material shortages and increases, maintaining supplier Purchase Order dates, assisting buyers with supplier communications, and ensuring the smooth processing of inbound deliveries. This role requires an individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and contribute to our inventory management processes.Responsibilities
Monitor all material shortages and increases, and react to messages through customer interface systems.
Maintain supplier Purchase Order dates.
Assist buyers in contacting and expediting with suppliers concerning part shortages and forecasts.
Assist buyers in obtaining Purchase Order Acknowledgements.
Unload delivery trucks from vendors.
Organize inbound deliveries.
Process receipts in FIFO manner.
Deliver product to inventory racks or points of use.
Monitor queue for upcoming work.
Pull parts per picklist.
Check, pack, and ship products.

Work Environment and ShiftWork in an industrial, large-setting manufacturing environment. The facility is non-climate controlled, you may be required to go outside to the yard for materials.First Shift: 5AM - 3:30PM with Mandatory Friday (OT is common).Essential Skills
Experience with forklift, shipping and receiving, picking, packing, material handling, inventory control, loading, pallet jack, and order picking.
Proficient with RF scanner and cycle counts.
Ability to drive sit-down forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of prior distribution experience (warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred).
Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools preferred.
Experience driving sit-down, standup, reach, and cherry picker forklifts is highly preferred.
