Kitchen manager/Cook
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager/Cook to join our team. As a Cook/Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your attention to detail, knowledge of food handling and safety regulations, and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the success of our kitchen. Ordering food and supplies. Keeping track of inventory. Setting schedule and finding coverage. Cleaning schedule in place and followed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team

- Scheduling/Coverage
