Description Robert Half is looking to add to their permanent Engagement detail oriented (FTEP) team in the Indianapolis area! Currently, we are looking for Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers! What is a FTEP? This position is unique in nature, it combines the security of a permanent position, with the structure of a consulting lifestyle. You will get a 40-hour work week as an internal Accounting detail oriented deployed to various engagements in the Fox Valley area. These engagements are project-based assignments for various clients such as year-end audits, ERP implementations, streamlining standard operating procedures, clean-up work, leave coverage, filling in for a vacant seat, or providing support for growing organizations as they continue to permanent. Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills
General familiarity with depreciation
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Foundational knowledge in General Ledger System
Well-founded grasp of Fixed Asset Accounting
Experience with Ad Hoc Analysis
General Ledger System experience
Financial System experience
Quality experience with month end closings
Auditing experience desired
Wide ranging experience with year end closings
Earlier work involving QuickBooks
Practical knowledge of Depreciation Calculations
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
A level of proficiency in financial reporting is preferential to this role
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
