Wednesday-Sunday 7am-3pm (day) and 3pm-11pm (swing)
Saturday-Sunday (weekend) 7am-11pm

We are seeking the following positions:
Direct Support Professional (DSP) is to provide support and services directly to people with intellectual
and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings. The DSP role is to support each person to reach the
highest possible level of independence, community involvement and economic freedom. The aim is for
each person receiving services to direct their own activities and create a meaningful life relationship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
● providing personal care.
● assistance with activities of daily living
● advocating with/for the person.
● assisting with communication.
● supporting the person to meet their goals.
● Typical household chores
● Documenting and filing important personal information.
● Medication administration.
Qualification Requirements and Preferences:
Please have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
Good writing skills in order to complete all required documentation detailing supports given and daily
interactions with the people we support.
Excellent work ethic and the ability to be self-directed in ensuring the home is kept clean and organized
Must have a valid Oregon drivers' license or valid ID. Must have and maintain a driving record that is
considered insurable by our auto insurance. (if driving is required for your position)
Preference given to those applicants with previous experience working with individuals with
developmental disabilities and/or experience in a care giving capacity.
Physical Requirements include but not limited to:
walking, bending, squatting, and sitting throughout the shift. Change positions frequently.
Frequently and independently push/pull people supported during dressing, transferring, or positioning.
If in home with people who use wheelchairs, frequently and independently push/pull wheelchairs or
lifting equipment.
This position is A Non-Exempt (Hourly) position, both part time (8-32hrs) or full time (40hrs) and can
receive overtime pay when applicable.
Starting wages depending on experience: Starting $16+/hour
Overtime & Holidays: x1.5
Earned time off & Sick pay (for 32+ hours scheduled employees)
