Construction Project Manager
Description We are in search of a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is centered around the construction industry, where you will be overseeing the implementation of project plans, managing project inter-dependencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring they adhere to the project plan and timeline. Foster a collaborative environment by actively engaging with work stream leads to manage progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the overall project, and devise solutions to mitigate them. Coordinate with subject matter experts based in other locations to manage the intricacies between all business and technical workstreams. Ensure all compliance aspects of the project are managed, including adherence to local legislation and regulation during the construction phase. Maintain the highest possible standard of health and safety requirements on site. Build and manage professional relationships with relevant regulatory bodies, external contractors, and third-party GeoTechnical advisors. Monitor the use of personnel, material, and equipment onsite, ensuring efficient utilization. Assist in overseeing assigned aspects of the project budget, in collaboration with the Finance team. Use your industry knowledge to advise and recommend contractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to expected standards. Identify and maximize business opportunities, working closely with key business stakeholders. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project management role Demonstrated skills in Project Management Proficient in Construction Engineering Experienced in Construction Management Proven track record in managing Construction Projects Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound operational decisions Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Familiarity with construction industry safety standards and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
