In this position, you will engage directly with customers to confirm applicant identification, ensure the completion of application forms, and input data into online driver license application software. You will also administer standardized knowledge assessments to gauge the applicant's comprehension of the Vehicle Code, driving regulations, and relevant traffic control devices. A vision screening for visual acuity will be conducted for all applicants using a telebinocular instrument. Furthermore, you will enter all applicant test results and customer applications for driver license services into online software systems via a PC terminal. It is essential to strictly follow all components of the Driver and Vehicle Services' Customer Service Policy. You will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate fee waiver code is utilized and accurately documented whenever a fee waiver is required to process a customer transaction, in compliance with all Fee Waiver Guidelines.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
