Full-TimeOverviewENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team based in our Kennesaw, GA (HQ), FT Worth, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL, Overland Park, KS, King of Prussia, PA, or Naperville, IL office locations. This position can be Full Time, Part Time or LTLB. From reviewing and checking designs to preparing design studies, project scopes and engineering estimates, this position plays a pivotal part in ensuring quality standards and success of all assigned projects.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand roles played by other disciplines on the project and able to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines

Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors

Prepare design studies, project scopes and engineering estimates

Make recommendations based on knowledge and experience

Direct and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projects

Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight

Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and evaluate technical bids and select equipment

Devise new approaches to technical problems

Broad knowledge of precedents in the industryQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university

Minimum 7 years' with power system design experience

Experience in electrical codes, motors, switch gears, standards and criteria for power systems

Proficient in Word and Excel

Good writing, presentation and communication skills

Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams

Willing to travel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-up

Ability to travel between 10-15 % of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks

Position may involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time
