Assembly/Finishing (Puzzle Company)

Job Overview

We are seeking seasonal professionals to join our team. Puzzle Company in Southeast Portland looking for candidates for seasonal work, hours and times will be Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 however, will consider other flexible hours and times.

Position Summary:

Perform various hand operations to assemble products. Utilize small hand tools including heat guns, tapers, shrink wrappers etc. to assist with product assembly and automatic cutter.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attention to detail

Follow instructions of assembly needed and quantity. Inspect products (finished goods and in-process).

Assemble products using small hand tools (glue guns, rollers, tapers, etc.).

Pack product/material produced.

Transport product/material using power and non-power hand trucks.

Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

Work as part of a team and participate

All other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity Ability to use small hand tools

Ability to lift up to 20 Lbs.

Bindery experience required

Hours: M-F 8:00 – 5:00

Wages: $16 - $19 per hr. (dependent on experience)
