Description We are in search of a Project Document Controller II - Subsea to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be expected to manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This includes the creation and monitoring of customer records, as well as the generation of various reports. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Manage and maintain project documentation in the EDMS system and Sharepoint/Network folders. Create customer records and prepare documents for transmittal to clients according to project-specific procedures. Maintain information in the project Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Generate various reports, including Late Reports, Status Reports, Open Reports, and others as needed. Follow document control procedure in transmitting and receiving documents. Serve as the main point of contact for the Project team on information management and documentation in projects. Analyze and control all technical documentation related to department and project activities within contractual requirements and company procedures. Handle and register all outgoing and incoming transmittals according to project document control procedure. Participate in meetings as required and perform documentation planning in cooperation with the project management team and project engineering management. Provide training to Junior Document Controllers on Manufacturing EDMS. Review document and transmittal quality according to Document Control Procedure. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in documentation and filing procedures Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Knowledge and experience in project management Ability to plan and implement procedures and policies Operational experience in a manufacturing or similar environment Experience in training team members or staff Ability to handle correspondence in English language Proven track record in resolving issues and managing suppliers Knowledge and experience in quality control Ability to travel as required by the role Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites, including closing and paper documentation Experience in policy and procedure implementation.
