Job Title: Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionOur Client is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration repairs to plant machinery and equipment. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial systems to ensure smooth operations within the facility.Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to determine the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components using appropriate tools and techniques.
Install, assemble, and align new equipment or machinery to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient operation of the facility.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Essential Skills
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple trades, such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and machinery.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks and work in various working conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, preferably in a multi-craft role.
Proficiency in using mechanic hand tools, carpentry tools, measuring tools, masonry tools, lathes, table saws, band saws, and electrical meters.
Ability to work with wire conduit, pipe, concrete, plaster, sheet rock, and flux.
