Job Title: Quality InspectorJob DescriptionQuality control inspectors ensure that products meet standards of quality and safety. They are responsible for performing inspections, checks, and tests for quality control during the manufacture of products.Responsibilities

Perform mechanical inspections to ensure all quality aspects of the job are met.

Inspect raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts, and assemblies.

Conduct first piece/first article, receiving/incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Measure complex components, assemblies, and enclosures.

Generate detailed inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.

Check documents for accuracy and compliance with requirements.

Read and interpret information from engineering drawings, travelers, specifications, and other documents to generate complete and precise inspection reports/records.

Audit quality control processes and programs to ensure compliance with standards.

Conduct internal and external inspections (e.g., source inspections).

Provide support to other departments, suppliers, and customers on quality-related issues.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Achieve positive results and communication through team effort.

Develop inspection techniques and train Level 1 inspectors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

2+ years of mechanical quality inspection experience in a production/manufacturing environment in the semiconductor or related field.

Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages to check tolerances.

Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and/or BOMs.

Computer proficiency.

Recent documentation experience.

Willingness to cross-train and a positive attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred.

Previous experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) is a plus.

Ability to make suggestions for process development is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software.

Intermediate math abilities.

Ability to read and apply production instructions, drawings, BOM schematics, and specifications proficiently.

Ability to learn, interpret, and apply GD&T daily.

Ability to operate manual CMMs independently and edit CMM programs.

Ability to read and interpret specifications, standards, and engineering drawings/blueprints.

Intermediate level for mechanical measurement techniques and workmanship standards related to machining.

Basic knowledge of secondary processes such as paint, powder coat, and plating.

Ability to read and interpret weld symbols, call-outs, wiring, and/or crimping requirements.

Ability to calculate flat patterns and inspect precision sheet metal.

The 1st shift runs from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, and the 2nd shift runs from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with potential for up to 10-hour shifts. The work environment includes cleanroom manufacturing, warehouse, and office settings. Most work is conducted within cleanrooms, which require full-gown attire. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with exposure to various noise levels, electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.
