Solid Surface Fabricator

Established East Valley commercial cabinet shop is seeking a skilled full-time solid surface fabricator to join our team. As a solid fabricator you will be responsible for shaping, sanding, and forming solid surface materials into countertops and backsplashes. This job calls for strong attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reads shop drawings and retrieves materials needed

Sands and finishes tops with few to no errors

Understands what it means to roll with the flow of the shop

Acts in accordance with company safety protocols.

Keeps work area clean and organized

Work well independently

Follows directions given by supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND TRAINING:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience.

Forklift certification a plus

Basic math, reading and writing skills

Ability to distinguish colors

Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and 50+ with assistance

Effective problem-solving skills

Standard work week is Monday-Thursday 10-hour shifts (overtime based on workload)
