In Search of Home Health Aide for Young Man with Autism

In search of a sitter for a 22 year old young man with autism.

The position is for 35 hours a week with Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The job itself can be uneventful, dare I say even boring, since the client usually sleeps most of the morning after breakfast. The only requirements are to fix him his breakfast and his lunch. Food will be provided. Aside from that it’s just a matter of cleaning up his eating area after he has eaten and keeping an eye on him as he does occasionally suffer from seizures and needs help navigating through them though they don’t happen often.

Pay is $14 an hour.

Transportation is needed and we are looking for reliability.
