Data Strategy AnalystJob Code: 2024-700-011Division: Financial ServicesFT/PT Status: Regular Full TimePosition Based In: HiramApply Before: 11/7/2024Job Summary:Responsible for creating, analyzing, and identifying trends from multiple data sources including data from the Cooperative and its broadband subsidiary. Collaborate with decision-makers, subject matter experts, and other internal stakeholders to understand and establish business needs, key performance indicators, and organizational strategies to translate complex data into a well-crafted story. Partner with Information Systems to develop, organize, and prioritize data sources and applications.This is a hybrid-eligible position subject to GreyStone Power’s remote work policy. Fully remote is not an option.Key Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains professional and productive working relationships with peers and stakeholders by fostering a positive spirit of collaboration in the workspace.

Collaborate with internal and external subject-matter experts to identify and translate business questions into projects and modeling tasks.

Deploy and support data mining tools through ETL, data processing, and modeling.

Performs basic to advanced data analysis and validation using multiple data sources to discover insights.

Prepare technical reports and effectively communicate trends and insights gathered from analysis to help guide organization decision-makers.

Creates and presents high-quality storyboards, presentations, and other deliverables to management and other business leaders

Prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives.

Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership to data modelers and ETL developers to bring improvement and optimizations in implementing data warehouses or data lakes.

Collaborate with the data governance team and other key stakeholders to define and implement policies, and establish standards for data integration, management, security, compliance and privacy, and governance.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requires a four-year bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics.

At least three years of experience in analytics, marketing, or related fields is preferred.

A working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.

Proficiency in Power BI is strongly preferred.

Must possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Exhibit a strong relationship-building competence.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, including the ability to determine the technical skill level of the information recipient and formulate and tailor communications accordingly.

Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.

Demonstrate excellent analytical and forecasting ability.

Experience using and developing relational database structures.

Basic proficiency in SQL and data mining tools is preferred.

Electric Membership Cooperative (EMC) or utility experience is preferred.

Physical Demands (if applicable):Talking, sitting, seeing, hearing, and typing. This job is typically performed in an office environment but will require minimal travel a few times annually to training meetings or conferences.
