Financial Analyst 2
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst 2 in Dallas, Texas, United States. This role is central to our team, where you will be responsible for conducting quantitative analyses of financial information that affects investment programs. Your role will encompass the processing and analysis of financial data, maintaining accurate records, and communicating financial information to clients.Responsibilities: Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions Analyze financial data to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions Interpret data affecting investment programs such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks Use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and other financial software to assemble spreadsheets, draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports Use written communication skills to accurately report financial data Exercise critical thinking to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses Maintain knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and reporting of financial data Understand and adhere to federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting Work independently to manage time effectively. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong critical thinking and quantitative analysis abilities. Familiarity with financial reporting and expense reporting. Experience with financial software such as 'About Time'. Knowledge of pricing strategies and regulation in financial markets. Ability to perform ad hoc financial functions and analyze financial statements. Comfortable using VLOOKUP and other advanced Excel functions. Experience interpreting complex financial language. Proficiency in using various computer programs related to finance. Understanding of accounting principles and ability to make informed investment decisions. Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs. Familiarity with company policies and procedures. Ability to predict future trends in the financial market.
