Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is primarily focused on the industry of accounting, where you will handle various accounting and administrative tasks. You will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. If interested in this role, please call us at 808-531-8056. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.Responsibilities Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and taxes Manage the accurate processing of client transactions and operations Utilize accounting software systems to record, store, and analyze information Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes Develop and maintain financial reports and ensure financial control procedures are followed Prepare budget forecasts and manage the production of the company’s financial reports Conduct billing duties, including managing accounts receivable and accounts payable Handle the company's transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computerized accounting systems for data management and reporting Perform cash flow analysis and other financial analysis to support business decisionsRequirements Minimum of three years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Accounting Systems. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Annual Budget management. Experience with Cash Flow Analysis. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred. Certified Bookkeeper designation is a plus.
