Leads the daily execution of the Sterilization site to meet all stakeholder expectations for quality, order fulfillment, total cost management, and budget management. Develops all elements of the financial plan for the operations department and effectively meeting the plan.
Responsible for all organizational performance metrics, such as but not limited to: process time, scrap rate, downtime, process non-conformances, OEE, inventory, customer complaints, and safety.
Leads the daily execution of the Sterilization site to meet all stakeholder expectations for quality, order fulfillment, total cost management, and budget management. Develops all elements of the financial plan for the operations department and effectively meeting the plan.
Accountable for the whole Tucson operation annual cost budgeting process. Communicates operational results, budget cost variances, capital expenditure, and operational issues to executive management.
Develops resource plans, allocates budgets and capital for multiple cost centers and departments. Ensures proper staffing, equipment, and support necessary for driving cost and cash efficiencies throughout the operation. Collaborates with other functional senior leaders internal and external to the plant.
Manages resources to ensure financial objectives are met, leveraging knowledge of competitive advantage and profit drivers. Partners with supporting functions to include Quality Assurance, Human Resources, and Finance to ensure execution, compliance, and proper reporting.
Ensures all products released to the Global Distribution Center meet all corporate supply chain goals and objectives. Interfaces with Division Supply Chain Directors to ensure alignment on flow time and back-order prioritization.
Ensures that the manufacturing facility operates in compliance with all local, state, federal and international regulations and ordinances including FDA, ISO, OSHA, EEO, EPA, etc., and applicable company policies and procedures.
Develops and executes the required footprint and functional strategy for the Tucson operations. Sets up the business case justification and implements cross-functional projects focused on the improvement of the operation.
Responsible for creating and executing operational strategic plans. Responsible for identifying, budgeting, and gaining organizational support for operational and cost improvement projects (CIPs)
Role models the company’s high ethical standards and code of conduct.
Develops individuals and leaders to grow organizational & personal capabilities
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
Experience:
8+ years of manufacturing experience in Operations or Engineering leadership roles in a FDA
5+ years on management experience.
Experience in operations finance and/or managing a P/L.
Experience with sterilization is a plus.
Familiar with sterilization concepts and standards.
Knowledge of analytical and problem-solving tools.

Proficient with the major elements of quality systems and ensuring compliance of those systems to all applicable ISO/FDA regulations, Front Room FDA experience desired
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or relevant field required.
Master’s degree in science, business or relevant field preferred.
Certifications:
PMP, CQE and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certifications preferred
