Job Overview:

The Plumber’s Helper will assist the lead plumber in daily tasks related to plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.

Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.

Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing materials.

Help in the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances under the direction of the lead plumber.

Measure and cut pipes to required lengths.

Perform basic tasks such as digging trenches, clearing obstructions, and cleaning up after jobs.

Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working condition.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures on all job sites.

Requirements:

No prior experience required, but previous experience in plumbing or construction is a plus.

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs).

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
