POSITION SUMMARY

Lockup Steward is responsible for locking and unlocking all designated gates and mausoleum doors at their assigned location/s.

Lockup days are Friday-Sunday

$21/hr

(Rate above includes milage and use of private vehicle)

PRIMARY DUTIES, REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must possess a valid driver license and insurance.

Responsible for unlocking designated gates and mausoleum doors by 7 am on weekends and holidays.

Responsible for clearing cemeteries of patrons and locking designated gates and mausoleum doors at dusk each night.

These responsibilities are carried out 365 days a year with no additional compensation for weekends and/or holidays.

Coverage at other cemetery locations may be occasionally required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Some minor snow removal may be required on rare occasions.

Must be able to work in inclement weather, including rain, snow, sleet, hail, cold and hot days.
