Workers' Compensation Attorney

We are seeking a licensed California Attorney (knowledge of workers’ compensation law preferred) to work out of one of our Central Valley office locations in either Bakersfield or Visalia, under the supervision of the partners.
As Attorney, you would manage workers’ compensation claims from their inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. You would work closely with our support staff, colleagues and defense attorneys to provide excellent customer service to our clients. This is a varied role requiring legal experience, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping injured workers, thrive in a collaborate environment and have a positive, can-do attitude.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (candidates should demonstrate how their experience meets these in their cover letter):
Bachelor’s and Juris Doctorate degrees
Member of the State Bar of California
Research, analytical, and negotiating ability
Excellent written and oral communication
Commitment to proactive case management
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail; proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Collaborative, ability to work well in team environment
Excellent judgment and sensitivity
Ability to develop specific goals, prioritize, organize, and accomplish those goals
Preference for collaboration, with a proven success working with others
Flexible, resourceful and innovative
