We are currently seeking a Carpenter/Cabinet Installer/Skilled Handyman who is already a talented craftsman to install our custom-built Pull-Out shelving in customers’ existing cabinets. This is an opportunity for you to grow your business alongside ours. While the work is part-time, our clients often need other remodeling and fix-up work in their homes, which can lead to additional side work for the contracting individual.
Candidate will primarily work throughout Charlotte County, and Southern Sarasota County (as needed).
This is an excellent opportunity for independent handymen, cabinet installers/refacers, carpenters, kitchen/bath remodelers, or those seeking part-time/supplemental work. We bring the customers to you. YOU SET YOUR SCHEDULE
Responsibilities:
Receive job alerts via email and schedule an appointment with the customer
Take accurate measurements and upload to the computer portal system
Receive and inspect products for quality
Install Pull-Out shelving at customer home to the customer’s satisfaction
Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience with general carpentry
Must have all necessary insurance and workers compensation insurance or exemption
Must be Neat and Presentable in appearance.
Must have good communication skills.
Must value the importance of customer service
Must be dependable, professional, prompt, motivated, organized, and exercise good time management
Must have reliable transportation
Must have tools
Must have a computer with internet access, and ability to scan job documents
Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
