Medical Office Coordinator
Description A University Hospital near Los Angeles is adding a Medical Office Coordinator to the Revenue Cycle Team. The Medical Biller must have 2 years of revenue cycle experience in a hospital setting. This role is in office and will NOT be remote.Duties include:Insurance Verifications and AuthorizationsAccurately processing of Inpatient and outpatient claims to third party payers, following all mandated billing guidelinesEnsuring and meeting Timely Filing guidelinesPerforming all required duties within the patient accounting systemsInterpreting payer contracts, processing contractual adjustments, knowledge of late charge processAppeals and denials managementPrimary, secondary and tertiary billing/collectionsBenefits:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.
