Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the healthcare industry for a Customer Service role based in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for providing customer service for the elderly, assisting with day-to-day operations, and ensuring the smooth running of our services.Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service to our elderly clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Assist in daily operations, ensuring the smooth execution of all tasks. Use data entry skills to process customer information and maintain accurate records. Engage in both inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks. Perform order entry tasks and ensure all customer orders are accurately recorded. Provide assistance to seniors with food boxes and their shopping carts, ensuring their safety and comfort. Handle email correspondence, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Schedule appointments as necessary, ensuring efficient time management. Lift up to 30 pounds as part of daily tasks, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the healthcare sector Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls Experience in a call center environment would be advantageous Strong data entry skills with attention to detail Ability to correspond professionally via email Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience in order entry and processing Ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A patient and empathetic approach to customer service Knowledge of healthcare industry procedures and terminology would be beneficial.
