Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are seeking a Sr. Accounting Financial Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be expected to manage financial operations and maintain accurate records. You will also play a crucial role in strategic planning and financial forecasting. This role is a combination of accounting and analysis at the corporate level.Responsibilities: Collaborate with department managers to understand their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain financial models to consolidate forecasts, annual plans, and strategic plans. Analyze departmental budgets, spending patterns, and variances to identify cost-saving opportunities. Lead the forecasting and planning processes to ensure deadlines are met. Handle sensitive and confidential financial data with discretion. Utilize key financial ratios to forecast balance sheet performance. Work closely with the treasury department to ensure balance sheet forecasts align with cash flow expectations and financing plans. Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency by designing and implementing process improvements. Use financial modeling and data analysis to support these improvements. Monitor the success of implemented changes and continuously optimize processes. Prepare clear and insightful financial reports for department managers and senior leadership.Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar Proficient in Accounting Functions, Auditing, and Budget Processes Demonstrable experience in Capital Management and Financial Modeling Solid understanding of Balance Sheet Reviews and Financial Forecasting Proficient in the use of SAP and other relevant financial software Proven experience in Strategic Planning Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
