Description We are in search of an Interim Controller for an onsite engagement in Middlefield, Ohio. This role is vital to our operations, requiring a meticulous individual who can oversee accounting functions, manage customer applications, maintain records, and resolve inquiries. This position is within the manufacturing industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reporting Manage banking and treasury functions Supervise the closing of accounts and oversee the accounting close process Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) departments Develop and manage the company's budgeting and planning processes Supervise staff and IT functions Manage cost accounting functions Utilize IQMS ERP System and Quickbooks for accounting functions Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging team members to contribute and assist when necessary Leverage strong Excel skills to analyze and interpret financial dataSkills: Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience in Accounting Functions Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Auditing processes Understanding of Budget Processes Experience with Month End Close and Account Reconciliation Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience with Accounting close processRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated ability to manage all Accounting Functions Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Auditing processes and procedures Knowledge of Budget Processes Capability to manage Month End Close procedures Strong skills in Account Reconciliation Understanding of the Accounting close process Experience with QuickBooks software is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
