CAD Designer, 24.03 an hour

Job Description:

Experienced SolidWorks Designer/Draftsperson: Level I. You will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and design team. Your responsibilities will include creating and revising detailed technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, ensuring that all designs meet industry, customer-specific, and in-house standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.

Revise and update existing drawings as required.

Read, interpret, and implement ISO, ANSI, and ASME standards, as well as customer-specific requirements.

Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and company specifications.

Be familiar with and participate in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.

Assist in the development of design documentation and technical reports.

Maintain organized records of design files and documentation.

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions.

Assist other departments and perform additional tasks as instructed.

Ensure documentation accuracy in collaboration with engineers and other team members.

Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, drafting, or a related field.

Proven proficiency in SolidWorks as outlined in the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) exam.

Knowledgeable in creating both small and large assemblies.

Working knowledge of configuration management principles.

Computer proficient – MS Office 365 Suite

Familiarity with Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.

Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

Broad knowledge of technology and ability to assess its implications on business strategy.

Strong interest in product design and development.

Commitment to company values and mission.

Motivated team member who readily accepts and completes tasks in a timely manner.

Technical capability required of a draftsperson in a manufacturing environment.

Beneficial Skills:

Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Experience with SolidWorks Routing.

Experience with SolidWorks PDM or any other product data management software.

Technical Writing skills, including creation of Work Instructions.

Physical Challenges:

Must have ability to operate hardware and software supporting the drafting needs of TSC.

Consistent sitting for many hours at one time (50%+ of normal shift)

Occasional requirement to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Maintenance Technician 19.00 an hour

Perform repairs and upgrades that keep the interior and exterior of apartment communities.

May perform electrical and plumbing repairs or may paint and do lawn maintenance work.

Relevant certification (e.g., HVAC, CPO) strongly preferred

One to two years industry experience or three years general contract maintenance experience

Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands on experience

Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards (i.e., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) as they apply to residential

housing

Proven organizational and time management skills

Valid driver license and automobile insurance required

General understanding of the Microsoft suite, property management software preferred

Aviation Repair Station Planner $17.00/hr + DOE

Must be able to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, customer and aerospace standards.

Computer skills and experience working in a computer system for writing instructions, researching data, and

printing related documents is required.

Fiberglass Technician $18.00/hr + DOE

Min 1 year experience in fiberglass/composite repair of aircraft components.

Perform wet lay-up repairs using epoxy resins, fiberglass, carbon cloth, and appropriate tooling/fixtures.

Experience in pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting a plus.

Sheet Metal Mechanic $16.00/hr + DOE

Minimum 2 years experience.

Blue print reading required.

Familiar with fitting, bending, rolling and riveting, reading, the use of hand tools, band saw, etc.

Must be able to follow instructions on shop travelers, customer specifications, and procedures.

Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Sheet Metal Mechanic with A & P License RATE/DOE

Minimum 2 years experience.

Blue print reading required.

Familiar with fitting, bending, rolling and riveting, reading, the use of hand tools, band saw, etc.

Must be able to follow instructions on shop travelers, customer specifications, and procedures.

Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Aviation Repair Station Receiving Inspector $18.00/hr + DOE

Minimum 2 years experience in commercial aircraft and engine heavy maintenance preferred

Knowledge of repair and overhaul of components/parts

Minimum of 3 months in the quality assurance/inspection organization for inspecting components for repair station

activities.

Computer skills required. Licensed Airframe and Powerplant under FAR Part 65 a plus.

Yard Cleaner, 16.00 DOE
