Picker/Packers Needed

Food production and distribution company in Astoria/Long Island City is in need of seasonal workers.

Must be flexible to work:

9am to 630pm in October/November (Mon-Fri)

7am to 330pm/3pm to 1130pm in December (Mon-Fri)

7am to 630pm/6pm to 530am in the weeks right before Christmas (Mon-Fri)

Weekends might be part of the schedule as we get closer to the holidays and the schedule can change depending on needs.

Must be able to work up to 12 hrs a day on feet in refrigerated temperatures

Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs

Must have previous warehouse experience

Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts

Food Handlers or ServSafe certification preferred

Will be selecting product to fulfill orders for the day, then packaging them in shipping boxes/crates to be sent out , double checking to make sure the order is correct and verifying it against the invoice and label before sealing it.

Seasonal position to go through the end of year…possibly longer.

$18-$21/hr depending on experience
