As the Deli Manager, you will support the manager in day-to-day operations that help to provide excellent customer service, maintain quality and sanitary standards and direct deli team members.
You will:
Coordinate deli operations, including food production, service and inventory management
Assist customers with their deli orders, addressing inquiries and concerns
Ensure food quality by monitoring product rotation and adhering to food safety standards
Train and supervise deli team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies
Assist with scheduling and maintaining staffing levels
Maintain a clean and organized deli department
Collaborate with other store departments to promote cross-selling opportunities and enhance overall customer experience
To qualify you should have:
Previous Manager experience in a deli or food service environment
Strong customer service skills
The ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
Knowledge of food safety regulations
The ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods
