Our NORAD Operations GroupSelected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided: Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space. Mitigation of orbital conflicts. Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities. Operations and maintenance of classified communications. Software development and integration.NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at: Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska Vandenberg Space Force Base, California Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the worldDescription of Duties:The Quality Assurance Lead supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for leading and managing the NISSC II Quality Team. The QA Lead gives guidance and direction to their teams, interfaces with senior management and the NISSC II customer, conducts employee counseling, conducts administrative actions, and develops their team. Provide guidance and direction as well as serve as supervisor to the Quality Assurance Team and Corrective Actions Team Manages the NISSC II audit program Manage critical customer relationships Collaborate with leaders across the contract Perform Document reviews and training utilizing Engineering Lifecycle Management System (ELMS) Perform other duties as assigned Potential for travel (10% or less)The successful candidate will: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to build team strategies Demonstrated leadership ability, strong communication and people skillsThis position will be filled and work onsite in Colorado Springs, COResumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. The selected candidate may be assigned as one of our teammate companies.Basic Requirements: Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility 2 years or more of related experience leading physical configuration audits, developing Internal audit scheduling based on Mission Essential Functions (MEF), competent understanding of technical drawings, and Technical Orders (TOs). 3 years of directly related experience 6 years of general work experience Experience in leading quality assurance and/or corrective actions Experience with basic audit principles and practices and basic assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating, and reporting Experience working with senior leadership Experience in customer-facing roles, able to manage customer relationshipsDesired Requirements: Training in AS9115, AS9100, or ISO9001 Experience in Agile Software Development Detailed knowledge of Technical Order Certification/Verification processes and Technical drawings. DoD contract experience Experience in an Information Technology Services environment Self-starter able to prioritize tasks and work with limited directionThis position is expected to pay $115,000 - $135,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
