Vascular Surgeon
The Division of Vascular Surgery of the Henry Ford Medical Group is offering an opportunity to join its practice. Since pioneering the development of vascular surgery more than 40 years ago, the Henry Ford Medical Group has remained in the forefront of advances in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of vascular diseases. The Division supports a very busy tertiary/quaternary clinical practice with large number of both open and endoluminal procedures. The successful candidate will be based at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, a 361-bed, Level II trauma center located in Clinton Township, a northeast suburb of Detroit. Macomb is a community teaching hospital recognized for providing comprehensive and advanced care in all medical disciplines including cardiovascular, cancer, orthopedics, stroke, and women’s health. Candidates will: · have opportunities to teach medical students, surgical residents and vascular fellows (ACGME-approved two-year vascular surgery fellowship). · be able to seek a tenure-track academic appointment: available for those who qualify, through Michigan State University - College of Human Medicine. · have the opportunity to engage in research activities within the division.
