Pool Construction Project Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring production activity project workmanship, quality of methods, techniques, and processes. The focus is on conformance with project objectives, profit goals, and production schedules. They ensure that the production process is on time and within the budget. Guiding direct reports to improve efficiencies or safety.

Buildertrend is current with all documents required, to-do’s, including the communication record with clients
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Field Project Managers and teams to help schedule and troubleshoot issues daily
Responsible for all Field Operations of their active jobs only
Responsible for ensuring quality control of all work performed
Review daily/weekly field activities for each of their active jobs
Manage entire project scopes for 2 to 3 large jobs at a time, as needed to hit 3.5M year
Approves Budget on projects at handover
Responsible for ensuring all handovers are completed prior to 30 days from the start of the new project
Send all receipts to the AP department (ap@omnipools.net)
Approves all AP purchases within 24 hours of email
Assign, review, and update the scheduling of all teams of all active jobs to ensure the critical path is completed per the BT schedule
Ensuring teams are completing each SOW correctly and within Omni building standards
Reporting through daily logs with 8-10 pictures and video of SOW
Completing Quality checks per to-do’s in Buildertrend on-site before SOW is moved forward
Updating the status of jobs weekly in BT
Updating and being fully prepared for each Bi-Monthly WIP meeting
Responsible for keeping all tools and equipment in a clean and working manner
Send all active clients’ weekly messages through BT regarding what scopes were worked on and what scopes are next
Closing out the project on time and budget
Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion, including critical paths
Ensures Kick-off meeting is scheduled with sales specialist, client liaison, client and trade partners
Release and approve all PO’s on each project
Adhere to the budget and timeline, notifying the Construction Operations Manager as soon as you realize the budget will not be met
Communicate with clients and deliver project progress reports and records in Buildertrend,
Ensures updated prints are completed and redlined with any change orders received after the start
Review daily field activities for each active jobs
Review all purchase orders to ensure that all materials are ordered to ensure they are delivered on time
Inform the Construction Operations Manager of any material issues and make sure they are remedied
Ensures all delivery notes are signed at jobs at the time of delivery
Follows written and verbal instructions
Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and safety precautions are followed
Required to attend ongoing educational classes (minimum of 4 per year on product knowledge)

Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Ability to read construction blueprints and drawings
Knows construction math skills, including how to convert quantities, take measurements, and solve basic equations
Must be available with short notice to travel as required
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (if driving a Company Vehicle)
Authority:
Purchase material over the budget by 10% i.e., if the material is 10,000, they can spend $1000 over their budget
Client Appreciation Limit $1000.00 per-quarter
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
An associate degree or construction apprenticeship is preferred
A driver’s license and clean driving record are necessary
5 years of experience working in the construction field, preferably as a Forman or above
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Training preferred
Physical Requirements:
Able to work in extreme weather, lift over 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods of time; have an unimpaired hearing; able to distinguish between colors; read printed materials
Must be able/willing to comply with all safety procedures and required PPEs
