MIG Welder
Summary:
This position will be responsible for performing production work in our Factory. The workers will typically assemble and produce and inspect finished products ensure high quality. This person will be working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment.
Pay Rate: $18 + BOE

Responsibilities:
Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead.)
Read blueprints, drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures with minimal supervision.
Align components, clamp pieces using rulers and other measuring devices if needed and available.
Knowledge of units of linear measurements, capable to convert inches to centimeters…
Inspection of welds for accuracy.
Change wire, welding, and gas tank. (is this the gas tank on the forklift)?
Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and safety devices are being used in a safe manner.
Operate forklift, if required and trained.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing face-shield, gloves etc.
Skills Required/Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of previous shop/warehouse experience.
Capability to comprehend quality control techniques.
Acceptable knowledge of safety and health principles with OSHA certifications a plus.
Able to lift 50 lbs. and be on foot most of the day.
Must be skilled in the organization & management of time, resources & able to work under pressure.
