Deal, let’s go!The role.Position Overview :Associate Engineer (Designer 1) will be a part of the Product Engineering group for Large Motors. Designer will complete motor dimension drawings and Bills of Material to meet customer requirements for production motor orders (engineered to order product). Designer will provide mechanical engineering support in conceptual and practical development of AC induction machine components working directly with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on designing customer solutions. Prepare clear, complete and accurate detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches, change orders or notes. Designer will also be required to support manufacturing operations as needed.Responsibilities

Complete semi-complex dimensional drawings to meet customer requirements.

Perform dimensions/specification determination necessary on semi-complex drawings for effective manufacturing.

Perform the designs of cost-effective semi-complex products with adherence to applicable industry and customer standards/specifications.

Provide drafting support in conceptual and practical development with other Designers, ME’s, and EE’s to design customer solutions.

Complete engineering changes driven through design improvement requests or customer order change requests.

Read and interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings created by Innomotics or provided by Customer.

Ability to identify process improvements and offer valid solutions.

Communicate effectively with Product Engineering team.

Your profile.Knowledge and Experience:

Proficient in AutoCAD or 2D/3D modeling and NX.

Experience in mechanical or electrical drafting.

Strong communication skill both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently as well as work with other group or teams.

Excellent computer skills are required: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
