Elementary Teacher - Northern NJ, live-in ok

A private household is looking to hire an experienced Kindergarten Teacher for their 3 kids. Relocation and Housing Assistance provided.

Duties: Teaching the children to read, write and math for kindergarten level / 1st grade. Help with homework and home practice. Planning and carrying out curriculum. Helping children develop positive self-images and experience success. Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills. Developing schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime.

Requirements:

BSc/BA in education or relevant field

Additional courses or training in Education would be advantageous.

Proven experience as an Elementary Teacher

Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods

Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms

Excellent communication and instructional skills

Ability to act as mediator between children

Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable

Certification in child CPR (or willing to become certified)
