HVAC Mechanic
40 hours / week: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Weekend differential included.
Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, works independently in the performance of skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and systems. Serves as a resources to staff in the area of HVAC and building automation system education.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Refrigerant Certification required.
Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver's license. Driving record from Department of Motor Vehicles, and proof of insurance coverage, which complies with organization and departmental Driving Policy.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC preferred. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, building automation and internet software; have the knowledge and ability to interpret and apply local and national codes and standards.
Responsibilities
Performs Fire Damper documentation per CMS.
Creates and maintains proper documentation.
Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patients.
Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
Coordinates projects and work orders.
Trains and mentors staff.
Requisitions materials after conducting research for price and efficiency.
