FOH/Expediter Team Member (Bee Cave, TX)

NOTE: This position is in BeeCave Texas, 30 min drive from Downtown Austin

We are seeking energetic and friendly applicants to be the smiling face of our locally owned and operated fast-fine restaurant in Bee Cave Texas (Please check address and ensure you can commute. We offer a gas stipend). We have part-time positions available with the possibility to move to full-time if desired. Weekends are needed.

Chicknic's mission is to provide healthy, wholesome take-out with the quality of fine dining restaurant to all families in the Hill Country.

The position is multi-faceted, where you can expect to gain experience:.

- Creating professional relationships with our loyal customers.

- Becoming our brand ambassador.

- Expediting, packaging, and ensuring food is delivered to customers as expected.

- We are a small team. You occasionally expected to pitch in outside of your listed responsibilities but never your capabilities.

- Front of the house is responsible for beverage inventory.

- Our front of the house team members also have side work duties such as portioning and restocking sauces, making cookie dough, brewing tea, juicing lemons, and stamping retail bags.

Compensation and benefits:

- FOH/Expediter service positions start at $8.50/hour plus tips. A min of $18/hour is guaranteed. If tips don't get you there we will make up the difference. Historical average hourly has been $20-$23 per hour.

- After 90 days of employment all employees are eligible to participate in the company insurance plan

Biweekly

- Gas Stipend for employees 10+ miles away.

- Paid bi-weekly. Direct Deposit preferred.

- Free shift meal and 50% employee discount on food during a scheduled shift. 30% all other times.

Requirements:

- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers licenses

- Ability to lift up to 40lbs

- Stand for extended periods
