DSP NEEDED IN VIRGINIA BEACH

Uptop Residential is seeking a full time and a part time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team at our VA Beach Group Home.

The energetic candidates will work in a lively environment supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Skills necessary include professionalism, compassion, and ability to adapt easily to a changing daily schedule, work well in a team and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills. The DSP will work closely with the residents and manager of the home to plan daily activities for the residents, as well as transportation to medical appointments during the week and participation in preferred activities of the resident.

The DSP will also support the resident with activities of daily living such as dressing, showering and hygiene, cooking and cleaning while ensuring their safety and maximizing their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual abilities. Drivers license a must.
