At Wright-Ryan, we take pride in our reputation and our role in shaping Maine's great spaces.Job OverviewThe Cabinetmaker will fabricate millwork pieces for custom homes, condominiums, and occasionally commercial projects consistent with specifications for quality, timeliness, and cost with assurance that the work meets the high quality standards of Wright-Ryan. The Cabinetmaker works closely with the Millwork Manager and Millwork Designer/Finisher.Education, Experience, and Skills

High School diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Five or more years of millwork production experience in a shop environment with demonstrated competency in cabinet making and general woodworking.

Ability to build items starting with raw materials until ready for finish.

Knowledge and experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery.

Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings, plans, blueprints and specifications.

Strong attention to quality and detail.

Knowledge of construction safety standards with ability to operate shop tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Ability to work in a collaborative small team environment.

Good organizational skills and attention to pace and accuracy.

Maintains a clean and neat personal appearance and workspace.

Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds as needed.
