Construction Cost Estimator (Denver)
Responsible for managing and prioritizing estimating workload for estimating team to meet estimate deliverable dates. Responsible for prioritizing estimating workload for to meet estimate deliverable date. The estimator should be able to analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts, and calculates costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data: Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors: Computes cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work and labor: Prepares and maintains historical cost data. Creates cost models for estimating elements: Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, and customer representatives.Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. View all processes and potential improvements through the customer's eyes in order to meet our goal of improving customer satisfaction. Working with other members of the team, you’ll perform a variety of activities, ranging from coordination of ongoing projects, team communication and training, document management, and support of strategic business initiatives such as proposals and presentations.Hybrid work schedule#epjobs #naepjobs
5+ years of estimating experience
Must be organized and detail oriented
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have excellent numerical and analytical skills
Experience at working both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment is essential
Must have analytical/problem-solving capabilities
Conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Promptly and efficiently react to project changes, remaining flexible to change
Adept at researching and resolving project-related issues
Must be proficient using MS Excel and MS Word
Demonstrated knowledge of estimating tools
Experience with InEight estimating software a plus
Preferred experience in utilities or linear construction.
