Production Sous Chef is Wanted at Little Sky Kitchen

Little Sky Kitchen seeks an experienced production sous chef to oversee operations for our main commissary kitchen and café.

The sous chef will directly report to the head chef and work closely with the owner to:

plan and oversee weekly production for multiple locations plus catering events

place orders and maintain inventory

manage all production staff and café line cooks (including hiring and training)

ensure the highest quality and safety across all operations

maintain smooth communication regarding all issues, concerns and company policies

The production sous chef is a critical leadership role at Little Sky demanding excellent organization, communication, problem solving and people leadership skills. This role represents an opportunity for an organized and entrepreneurial individual to grow and refine a large-scale operation in a fast-growing company.

Little Sky Kitchen is the sister company to Little Sky Bakery, which was established in 2017. Headquartered in Menlo Park, Little Sky Kitchen produces a wide variety of products, including roasted meats, soups, salads, sandwiches, giant potstickers and flatbread pizzas for sale across four brick & mortar locations and more than twenty farmers markets in the Bay Area.

Salary Range: $72k to $85k (based on experience), plus benefits
