Entry Level Outside Plant Technician

Job Title: OSP HelperExperience Level: 1 YearJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable OSP Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in supporting outside plant (OSP) construction crews. This role involves assisting with various tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects for our clients.Key Responsibilities:

Assist in open trenching and PVC pipe laying.

Support cable and conduit runs.

Handle and manage equipment and inventory.

Mount equipment and hang strand.

Act as the lead’s “Right Hand” to ensure projects are completed on time.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in OSP construction support.

Basic knowledge of OSP construction practices and procedures.

Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
