Caregiver needed
I receive care at my home in downtown Petoskey. The state provides all payments through my agency, and caregivers must pass a background check before they are cleared to work.
I need a regular caregiver for two nights a week: Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7 or 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Ultimately, but not necessarily, I would like a live-in caregiver to work those two nights and be a backup when one of the other caregivers can't work. You will always get paid for hours worked. Possible other shifts are available.
Pay is $16/hour + $2.35 an hour for COVID-19 pay, but I'm not sure when that will end. Again, it is paid by the state.
Duties are pretty standard and include feeding, rotating me in my bed periodically, moving me from my bed to my electric chair once or twice a day, cleaning a foley bag and colonoscopy bag, and taking care of basic household chores as needed.
