Field Technician - Power & Utilities Infrastructure - Indianapolis, INWe are seeking 6 dedicated and detail-oriented Field Technicians to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves collecting data on power poles, including attachment heights and power communication details, utilizing specialized software, and ensuring data accuracy and safety. The position requires daily travel within the state of Indiana, and would be all ground-based (no height risks). This is a great opportunity for someone with minimal experience to gain skills and to develop a career within a high-demand industry.Job Responsibilities:

Collect data on power poles, including attachment heights and power communication details.

Utilize software (Katapult) to gather pole heights, midspan information, and other relevant data.

Travel daily within the state of Indiana to complete data collection tasks safely, accurately, and promptly.

Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and the public in a courteous manner.

Upload and download collected data using computer systems as trained.

Operate and maintain company equipment safely and efficiently.

Follow company and departmental safety rules and procedures.

Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED.

Comfortable working in the field.

 Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new computer software efficiently.

Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.

Desire to work in a team-based environment and collaborate on a variety of projects and tasks.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Preferred but Not Required - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or Electrical Distribution Design.

Preferred but Not Required - Previous Field Experience in a similar role.

Work Environment:Field Technicians will be working out of the Indianapolis office 5 days a week. The office culture is small, close-knit, and quiet. The dress code is casual, but the role may involve customer-facing interactions. The position operates on a first shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM.
